The 2009 Newbery award winner is . . .

Website review:
Hear this tragic tale: a sleeping family, a talented murderer, and an adventurous toddler — orphaned, but not assassinated. Small and alone, by accident and luck he escapes the scene of the crime and climbs a grassy hill to safety. At the top of the hill the boy finds a fence, and on the other side, a dark, quiet place.

And what is to become of him?

hmmmm . . . not exactly my style but we'll see . . .

I haven't read this yet, but hope to. I like Neil Gaiman, he's pretty dark though. Last book I read of his was American Gods. weird but good. you ever read Christopher Moore?

Christopher Moore is pretty funny, total fantasy stuff. His latest is "Fool" (I haven't read it yet) its a retelling of King Lear's story by his jester. Aaron says its pretty funny. Most of his books are stand alones but in every book there is some character from some other book. My favorite of his is "Lamb". Its the story of Jesus as told by his best friend Biff. Its hilarious & very thought provoking, and only a little blasphemus...Let me know what you think of The Graveyard Book.
