monday

it's monday. i actually like mondays especially when weekends are hectic.

mondays feel like a new beginning, a clean slate, a second chance. a chance to make this week better than last week or at the very least, today better than yesterday.

maybe i like mondays because it reminds me of one of my favorite scriptures: "The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end. They are new every morning, great is Your faithfulness O God!" (Lamentations 3:22-23).
love that NEVER ceases, mercies that NEVER come to an end . . . great faithfulness . . . this is good stuff.
