one of the most enjoyable things of late for me has been listening to my daughter pluck away at the piano. i won't tell her so as that might lead to her feeling self-conscious about her playing and i just want her to enjoy it.
the mandatory piano recitals have passed and now she can play for enjoyment rather than the impending performances. her music has a different sound and feeling and i love it. hope she does too.
it is sweet music for my soul.
