a christmas story

my husband and i saw the play a christmas story last night at the cleveland playhouse. did i mention that this happens to be one of my all-time favorite movies?

a little background . . . my husband won 2 tickets to the play by being the 11th caller on a local radio station (wtam). (he didn't even know what the contest was for as he dialed).

but wait, it gets better.

he was also the grand prize winner, winning dinner for two at stages, the restaurant located inside the cleveland playhouse theatre.

dinner for two . . . with local radio personality carmen angelo and his wife, mary. her brother and his wife joined us as well.

the food was yum . . . the company was good . . . and so was the play.

my husband was smart and funny. i felt proud to be his date for the evening. ;)

it was a very nice evening.

and no one shot their eye out. :)
